Default Style of G

Hi, I have been studying the three badges on this thread and comparing them with other Middlesex Regiment badges in my collection. I think that there is a lot of natural variation, particlarly in the style of the Laurel leaves and stalks below Albuhera, and some of the letters in the Middlesex scroll. Using these two criteria the three badges match in that they all have four well defined voids below Albuhera and the G in Regt has got a horizontal bar. Also of note is the absence of sweat holes behind the white metal parts. The base scroll is attached by three flanges, the two outside are roughly rounded triangular shapes and the central one is semi-circular.

Hope this helps Dave Moore.
