Railway Survey Section RE
I’m looking for a bit of help on this from our Royal Engineer collectors. I have picked up a British War Medal to a man who served in 1st Railway Survey Section Royal Engineers (ex 7th Welsh) during the 1st WW but cannot find anything about how big the unit was or where it served.
I would be most grateful for any information that may be forthcoming. I am going to ask on the GWF as well.
