On page 12 of "Hertfordshire's Army Cadets" is a photo of The Aldenham School OTC shooting team at Bisley in 1937. They are wearing the smaller badge without the scroll.

Page 90 shows the Corps of Drums in the early 1950's wearing the larger badge. Interestingly, he notes that they are still wearing JTC cloth shoulder titles.

Aldenham School OTC was formed as a contingent of the Junior Division OTC on 17th of July 1908.

They became a JTC in october 1940

Incorporated into the CCF in September 1948

Disbanded as a CCF in November 1990

Re-formed as a CCF in April 2006
