After doing research and receiving the badges I assume they are WWII era , yes one should not assume!

I do have some questions:

Are they all WWII era?

Director Layer RN ,does not have an "L" or could it be a Gun Layer 2C?

Sea Cadet Corps would this be WWII (1941)with a name changes from Navy League SCC.

Merchant Navy title WWII?

Coast Guard WWII or post WWII?

All opinions welcomed.

cheers

Hi, Phill, I don't know what was worn during WW2 by the SCC but the title you have was worn by cadets up to the early 1990's.

The Merchant Navy title was worn at the Gravesend National Sea Training School on battledress until at least the mid 1970's but whether it was worn there during WW2 I do not know.
