Canadian Marine Service Ccp badge
This cap badge, which was described as being of the 2WW Canadian Marine Service, was just sold on ebay.
I considered bidding on it but I could find no proof that the badge, as it appeared, was ever even in existence.
It looks very similar to the KC PO cap badge in use from 1910 to 1952 period.
Yes, there was a Canadian Marine Service, this was one of the names of the Canadian Naval Service before the RCN came into existence in 1910. I have never seen any of the badges that the CMS or CNS wore tho.
I just wanted to record the badge here for future.
