It has been a good year for my collection but not such a good one for my wallet. I have found some cracking items from the Burma Campaign, including paperwork, photographs and maps, shoulder titles and formation signs.

I have also found some nice British Indian Army related items including this unusual bowl, probably from the officer's mess of the 23rd Madras Infantry, informally known as the XXIII Wallajahbad Light Infantry they we renumbered as the 83rd Wallajabad Light Infantry in 1903 and became the 4th battalion of the 3rd Madras Regiment in 1922.
