Twopennyworth:
A Canadian Regt wishing to adopt a new badge in a wartime environment. An officer finds a jewellers in a small market town who is willing to make up the bade and the deal is done. Now, it will take time and money to submit the new badge to an Assay Office in Birmingham or London- do the officer bother, or take his new badge to proudly wear? This jeweller isn't a name known by me for making badges.

Is this a hypothesis worthy of submitting?
