My great uncle Dr Egbert Percy Booth managed Royal Ordnance Factory No 10, Hooton during WW2, so this confirms your No 10 above. Today I found a cigar box of his with an engraved plate inside which reads:
Presented To
Dr Egbert P Booth DSc, PhD, MI Mech E
By the staff of the
Royal Ordnance Factory
Ellesmere Port
As a token of
Affection and esteem
May 1943
This caused me some confusion, but it seems Ellesmere Port and Hooton are one place, is that correct?
He only married my mother's mother's sister in 1946, but Aunt Ann had been his HR officer at the factory during the war.
