In St Mark's Anglican Church in Barriefield there are list of names of parishioners who served during wartime. Perhaps The Roll of Honour is for a village or church - and not necessarily soldiers who died.

He died in of Pneumonia in 1916 while at home on leave from the 1st FA Training Depot, CAMC, London, Ontario, and is buried at St. John's Anglican Church in Sandwich, Ontario.
