Some Volunteer Artillery items & information.........
I won't show the standard w/m cap again, as has been shown previously.
Only to say that it comes in 2 ( or 3 )main variations for o/r's.
1. 'Volunteers' on top scroll ( already shown)
2. 'Volunteer' only on top scroll ( not shown, as I do'nt have one to show.)
3. Possibly 'Ubique' on top scroll ( now have some written info. on these ,that says they 'MAY' have been used also by the Volunteers, but am fairly sure they were also worn at a latter time ,by RHA ,etc.as has been suggested..... also shown previously)
Officers wore same in Silver or SP & with a Bronze version for SD cap.
Still ,on to some others, with pictures to help.............
