1560396 Douglas Kenneth Barnes enlisted into the Royal Artillery (TA) in 1938, he was posted to 212 Heavy Anti Aircraft Battery 18/8/1940, to 63rd Light Anti Aircraft Regiment 27/10/1941 and transferred to the Royal Army Ordnance Corps 18/1/1945.
