A photo of my latest acquisition (from a fellow member) together with a similar example I already possessed. The "Black Mafia" as they were known had a close relationship with the Paras as officers who failed to pass P company (to get the maroon beret before starting para training) frequently joined the RGJ rather than line infantry.
The first badge, with the black border says ROYAL GREEN JACKETS PARA CLUB, The second, with the White border, says 1st GREEN JACKETS SKY DIVER
Does anybody have photos of these badges in use? I presume they were worn on the jump suit, much the same as the Red Devils team wore theirs?
