Facebook is a data mining site set up for advertising purposes. It tracks users outside facebook by using pixels in images and other, more visible facebook items.
I guess you and your wife are sharing the same computer and the same account .
As Facebook thinks you are one user only, it is feeding your wife paid advertisements with military items.
I am thinking of two options (
): stop looking at badges OR get your wife off Facebook and have her delete her account.
