Hi Martin,

Standard dismounted pattern breeches, a little less common is they're not Bedford-cord. I have a similar pair made of Bedford-cord by the CGCF as well as a mounted pair.

Do you have a service dress cap? I've never seen an original for sale nor even in a private collection. I know of a leather one out there but not the more standard woollen one with the leather edging on the visor. For something that was made in the hundreds of thousands it would have to be one of the rarest pieces of Aussie First War uniform, much rarer than slouch hats or boots.

Your have an amazing collection and in fantastic condition too! ... green doesn't adequately describe my complexion
