I've just received the badges and suffice to say I'm delighted (and relieved) to say that they're all in good condition with lugs intact and I believe I can now attribute them with greater accuracy ( and support from forum members) - there are still a few mysteries which if anyone can help further please chip in.
Photos 1/2
Jammu & Kashmir State Forces - ( larger and finer than Cox 2617 ) - Pretty sure its silver - finely die struck badge mounted on a brass plate - interestingly the brass plate is meant to be seen as the crest is mounted on the plate and the lugs mounted to the plate.Photos 3/4
The Mir of Kaipur State Forces ? Been advised its the Faridkot Imperial Service Sappers [/COLOR] - quite heavy cast badge - circle is almost certainly toned silver.
Rather fine silver badge to Cochin (Raja of) Tranvancore (The Maharaja of) same as Cox 2622 - although this is silver not white metal - it has a nice reinforcing band running through the wreath.

[Bahawalpur Mounted Rifles (Cox 2623) - shoulder title determined whether it was the mounted rifles or camel corps - cap badge was the same - crisp die struck pos silver
Photos 9/10
Rompur Rohilla Lancers (Cox 2646) - Finely cast badge w/m

1st Gurkha Coy - Rompur State Forces cap badge and shoulder title 1924>1931
I'll upload the rest later - my interest is only Gurkhas - so if any members have an interest in any of the other badges let me know - my preference would be exchange for Gurkha items - if not make me an offer - Tim
