Yes, yes.
Sliders were introduced in 1906 so your badge, which I would assume has 3 loops, will have been manufactured before then.
But that’s not to say someone issued with such badge around that time couldn’t have still been serving and wearing the same badge in 1914.
On closer inspection your 10th Royal Hussars appears to be on loops to? If so same applies.
