There is a certificate from the South African Military College dated April 3rd 1942noting her as a Warrant Officer (1st Class) in the WAAF, Miss Mary Kalil. Her number is given as '47103'.
I wondered if there was a prefix to that?
I know some forces used a prefix either Commissioned/Non-Commissioned, male/female, or simply to distinguish the service, although often not always used within the country if it is obvious what the service or gender is.
