I was a Regimental Signals instructor with 7 Para RHA. We did not wear trade badges.
In regiments that do, Instructors wear flags above stripes. Flags on the stripes is only for a distinction on the Sigs instructors course.
I think the BD has been embellished. It was probably once an honest sergeants jacket and the metal badges are add ons. It isn't an Artillery jacket because as previously mentioned gun arm badges should be worn. That also means in all probability the Pegasus and APJI badges are also add ons.
Somebody is probably going to spend a lot of dosh on a bit of creative sewing.
