As you say nice original badge, why I did query it was that in the first feed the badge look strongly as if w/m and not brass.

Agree yours has been cleaned hence sharper reverse than ours, the badge was produced by the same company that made the collars, hence the “jelly mould” appearance to the back of our uncleaned/unstripped badge (sonic cleaner is all that’s needed to clean a badge in my opinion).

Bosley does now know of the badges existence as told him about it a few years ago when he sold a collar badge for us, he wasn’t aware of it at that time mind you.

So seems as if you got a bargain (still out there if you got a keen eye), can’t say if you be lucky enough with a pair of original collars mind you for a bargain price or a 38th division patch for a complete set.
