That's really helpful information.
It's also good being able to see photos of a genuine TF Cyclists badge as that has given me plenty of camparison points against the restrike.
I've managed to track down the thread with Malcom Davey's photo and it was most useful. Not only does it show the second 9th Bn. badge but there are also two badges with very similar perculiarities to my first 9th Bn badge shown in the thread.
It certainly helps give me more a lot more confidence in the 9th Bn. badges.
