I'm afraid I would agree with your assessment of the Highland Cyclist badge.

You may have noticed it has the spelling Lacesset versus Lacessit on all your HLI badges. If you are looking for a genuine replacement for it, both spellings can be found. Here are a couple of mine, both different strikes and spellings, as examples.

(Forum wisdom is that ET spellings in general are not found post 1926, whereas IT spellings can be found both before and after).
