I found this to be an interesting item. The Toronto scroll and crown are missing but has been expertly ground down at the leaf points. The part I like is the makers mark... h. rosenthal / toronto Charlton's lists that as a maker of WW1 badges but i'm thinking the scroll on WW1 badges had a slightly different setup re the maple leaf attachment points. So did Rosenthal continue on making this badge into the 1921 era? Need a Rosenthal for the maker mark section?
