The only version of this badge I would risk good money on is the narrow crown base version in white metal. I don't think we have seen a similar one in GM on the forum. The one in post 10 or the one on the IWM site are the versions to look for. I don't think I've seen any of the British Army Irish regiment collectors on here give a thumbs up to anyhing else. Hard to say if the right one in post 20 is wm or gm. Regards, Paul.
Griff- I think you are talking about a badge on a respected dealers site- Well- he has had it there a while now-and I think there is more than the price that is causing it to stay there. Also the Lambourne mark on the badge on the forum is what is regarded as the duff Lambourne mark. I would not buy a badge with that mark.
