Wiltshre Regiment Officers cap badge
Hi All,
have just received this badge and have a couple of questions. I thought at first that the dark areas were just tarnishing, but on closer inspection I think it may have been blackened.Were officers badges to this regiment blackened ?
Also, the badge is stamped ' silver '. Does this usually mean it is silver plated or solid silver ? No hallmarks present...
