It looks as though they had a bit of reasonable gear there. A pity the auctioneer has not descibed it better.

I would be a bit disappointed if it was a private museum. The auction blurb indicates that many of the items were sourced from families in the New England area. I imagine that much of it would have been donated by well meaning people so as to establish an attraction in their area. Who gets the quid now that it is all being flogged off?
