The RGBW Regt / LI badge was hardly an improvement on that of the DERR.
The King's Regiment kept their collar dog design from the Brigade days as cap badge too, it always struck me as a pity that regiments such as DERR, King's and RRF used the same design for their respective regiment's caps and collars instead of taking the opportunity to display more of their component regiments history.
