Very interesting lot Tim. No wonder this hobby is so interesting and absorbing - always so many questions to find answers for.
I note that Australian mechanical transport drivers of the AASC in England in 1916 were wearing the letters MT in Wreath on their upper right arms. 10 Fd Amb RAAMC used to have a photo hanging in the orderly room we shared with them at one stage of drivers of the original 10 Fd Amb AIF wearing them.
