Yes Eddie, the one's I have seen has the M cypher towards the top of the case and instead of KYNOCHS BIRMINGHAM they have KN 14 VII.
But with this propelling in place of the standard wood cased pencil, I thought I'd take a shot. Then being told one had been seen on show by the WFA; I thought it would be at least WW1 - maybe an officer version. There again it could be a product sold during the war for private purchase to send to a loved one at the front.
I'll keep trying to find out.
