Default RND

The Nelson badge looks like the pin and clasp have been added to make a "sweetheart" brooch. The Anson badge looks as though the pin was made as part of the original badge, much in the style of pagri badges. Is the bronze finish just natural patina? Both badges are die struck which is unusual for OSD's. I think that the Gaunt plaque were put on earlier RND badges, the orders for these coming from the admiralty, but I think the ones without plaques were probably ordered later by the various Battalions, probably to the cheapest manufacturer.
