A nice item, identical to one in the Muckleborough Collection. Have you any idea of dates worn?
I know that in the 1940's the LSH adopted a RA coloured FS cap, with regimental cap badge, but at some stage between wearing a Torin like yours and the FS cap, Officers wore a FS cap with embroidered letters 'LSH' and a headdress with a boss badge (as Rifle units). Never identified which headdress, or period of wear though for the boss badge.
