Frank William Cole was a silver and gold chain maker of Vyse Street Birmingham. He died in 1910 but he did have a son - a Ralph Edgar Cole who took over the business in October 1910 but continued to trade under the existing name of F W Cole. It is feasible therefore that he later amended to business to become F W Cole and Son. In 1910, he registered his maker Mark as Chester silver Hallmark F.W.C
PS: if you found it in a bargain bin then you indeed have acquired a real bargain!
