Received this interesting badge today. It is a Plastic 1937 - 47 pattern NZAOC badge.
In colour and feel it is identical to an RAOC plastic Wartime Economy Badge with the main difference is that it is half the thickness.
There is no mention in any of the reference publications about plastic NZAOC badges, so this is an interesting find.
