No, I just looked at the badge you referred to, it does appear to be made here, I don't think it is unreasonable to describe the Eighth as a famous unit, I do think, from the photographs, that badge is in good condition and that these badge are certainly not getting any easier to find.
It is his website, but, I also take into account his nationality and if that is the way he wants to describe what he sells I would not have issue with unless he was selling something as original when it was not.
