D.R.A. stands for Defence Rifle Association, so I would think V.S.V. stands for Verdediging Skiet Vereeniging, not sure though. This badge was worn just prior and through the Second World War. There is the same badge for Transvaal, Natal and the Orange Free State. Have a good evening. Regards Andrew
