Just a long shot, but is your enamel badge maker marked? Having said that, even if it were many of the British makers have been in business for a hundred years or more.
We had an association from the late 1930s called the
"RS Ypres Club". Logical to think that it is "Returned Soldiers/ Ypres Club"
BUT I found a public notice where the main Returned Soldiers were expressing the idea that they were in
NO WAY connected to the main association!
The Ypres Club only lasted for a few years and finally the Companies Office struck them off as they hadn't submitted their accounts!
