The King's Head is where the men who made badges for JF Flaunt and company drank after work until it was struck by a bomb during the December Blitz on London. It was superceded by the Queens Head next door that had only minor shrapnel damage. The Queens Head later became the Queens Crown and was the first pub to be produced in A/A...It closed in the 1980s but is rumoured to be re-opening have been decked out in superior quality metals
