A year or so ago I posted a photo of this badge but am still hoping for some idea of what it might be.
I thought that the initials were "
V W" suggesting Volunteer Worker but it looks more like "
W W" suggesting "
War Worker" or maybe "
Woman Worker".
It's handmade and a bit of very basic engraving (dots and shading) has been used to emphasise the letters.
So, who has got 20 in a box somewhere? Who has seen one before? Who can suggest what it might be?
Any ideas appreciated.
