Default New Member WW1 Badge enquiries

Hi
I live in Sweden and am researching the war experiences of my grandfather and his brothers. This covers the Anglo-Boer War and the Great War/WW1.

My grandfather left behind a colölection of badges, originally fixed on a waist-belt but these days kept in an old cigar box. I am trying to identify the various regiments they came from. I have succeeded in some, I believe, but would like some help with others.

Grandfather saw service in Italy with the Middlesex Regiment, I believe, though the service record is not available online and his medal card simply records him as being in the Suffolk Regiment. From postcards home he seems to have spent time at Chatham, Portslade (School of Cookery) Milan, Venice, Rome and Sorrento. He seems not to have returned to the western front with the Middlesex Regiment in 1918.

I attach three documents with photos of the badges in the hope some of the more knowledgeable members of the forum can help and advise on the badges.

I will need to return to the question of his actual service later.
