Another 'browsing' find , a lot simply labeled "metal pin badges' comprising about 40 charity pins. In among them was ....... a
2008 poppy pin !
Got the lot for £2.70 + £1.06 postage , so total cost £3.76 (less than Poppy Shop charge to post 1 pin).
They arrived today and when going through them I found a
2009 pin
, first thought was I need to wear my glasses before buying things but at the bottom of the package was the 2008 one.
So why full circle ?
Well , in January I posted that I was "Still looking for 2006 , 2007 and 2008" and now I have the full set ....plus spares from 2009-2018 including the elusive 2005(?) micro/stud (most were in joblots containing other badges I was after).
My next goal is to get the oval 'centenary' ones I'm missing.
