regarding the curved AIRBORNE title, a WW2 period image would enhance the statement that operational RASC parachutists wore the title. in Oosterbeek in the mid-nineties there was a photographic exhibition of the units involved during the battle of Arnhem. from my notes, all RASC personnel parachute trained wore either the abbreviation R.A.S.C or the full ROYAL ARMY SERVICE CORPS title.
