Not only
66th (Gloucesters) Serachlight Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA)
but also
67th (Welch Regiment) Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA)
68th (The Monmouthshire Regiment) Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA)
Additional remarks:
Numbers higher then 200 where numbers used after the resurrection of the TA in 1947.
Numbers between 562 and 607 perpetuated the Searchlight units with a number 535 lower. Thus e.g.
- 27th (London Electrical Engineers) Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA) became the 262nd Searchlight Regiment (27th London Electrical Engineers), Royal Artillery (TA)
- 72nd (Middlesex) Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA) became 607th Searchlight Regiment (Middlesex), Royal Artillery (TA).
In other words, those post war units were not "new", but redesignated.
