Re Gurkha Sign
There was a 26th Gurkha Infantry Brigade based at Johore Bahru, it was formed in 1948 or 9. It was part of the 17th Gurkha Div along with 48 (Seremban) & 63 (Kuala Lipis) Gurkha infantry Brigades. By 1950 the 26th were still at Johore. I am not aware of any patch worn by the 26th. It disbanded in 1959.

Thank you very much for this, it confirms my suspicions that 26 Gurkha Bde did not wear any Bde Patch in the Malayan Emergency.
