Default Douglas Tartan Used by Canadian Perth Regiment

I am sorry to come late to this discussion, but that tartan (especially that cut) was worn by the Perth Regiment of Canada. The TOS being Canadian supports this. The unit was inactivated in 1965. I will check to see if any other units used this tartan, such as cadets or officer candidates and pics of unit members wearing the TOS.

Unfortunately it is not a TOS for the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) Regiment who, while wearing the Douglas tartan as a badge backing, used a different cut.

This is a TOS any collector of Scottish military headgear would be happy to have (myself included)

Great find!
