Well, to be quite honest, I think notwithstanding any AMWO's, it is all academic, whilst the cap badges were issued in the spring of 1919, the fact remains that the fabric crown and eagle cap badges continued in wear by many of those Airman who had been issued with them the year before for a surprising length in time, in some cases, well into the following decade.
