Terry,
Your Red Cross patch is on a Multi Terrain Pattern (MTP) blanking plate. The MTP Personal Clothing System Combat Uniform (MTPPCSCU for short) was issued from about 2011 and has replaced clothing made in Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) in temperate and desert designs.

I have recently seen a badge consisting of a Red Cross on a 83mm white circular background which I believe is designed for the MTP blanking plate. I have not seen one yet with the ‘ARMY MEDICAL SERVICE’ Geneva Convention stamp.
