Question for Chris:-

Was this (7th H) made by DOWLER on a sub contract for FIRMIN? It looks like one of the very early AA productions? OR..... is FIRMIN using one of the old DOWLER dies, after aquisition, and then putting their name on it? See the Dowler motto that I believe is an early Dowler..... a copy of the Smith & Wright Ltd Motto....... the slider is identical? The later Dowler slider I have pictured comes from the Firmin produced Motto but has the Dowler mark on it?
