It already has that two lugs holes on both sides. I would have guessed its either Royal Scots or Highland Light Infantry. But I was wrong.
For some reason, my friend thought it's from the RRS, which explains why the TAM O Shanter has so many holes now...
Could it be UOTC?

Wouldn’t be Royal Regiment of Scotland as they wear the plain government tartan, no strips as far as I’m aware.
