The description says"Sergeant 73rd Battalion CEF 1915 " Shortages of regulation clothing in the early months of the war led to the adoption of a "khaki" tartan by certain units of the Royal Highlanders of Canada, seen here is an NCO of the 73rd battalion with both kilt and glengarry made up of this material......."
