i thought it was interesting to note that the badge on the cap looks to be a collar badge.
here are another couple of nice items.
the first being a white metal hat badge. a little tarnished but a solid badge and beautiful strike.
and a super rare unofficial ww1 Australian wireless corps enameled badge.
