The November 2018 edition of the
Bulletin of the Military Historical Society showed these two black and white images. Apparently the metal version - gilding metal, 45mm high by 40 mm wide and with east/west lugs - is due to replace the earlier cloth version. The version shown has no coloured enamel but will have those used in the cloth version as per the drawing.

Are there plans to make this the regiment's only cap badge?
